About Dr. Conklin
Since December 1989, Dr. Richard Conklin has independently served our region as one of the premier experts in oncology and hematology. Before setting up his current practice in Aberdeen, he graduated Summa Cum Laude from Syracuse University, and was accepted into Phi Beta Kappa, considered the most prestigious college honor society in the United States. While there, he received the Wiley Award in Organic Chemistry for Highest Scholastic Achievement.

He went on to obtain his medical degree from Vanderbilt University Medical School. Dr. Conklin completed his internal medicine residency, and fellowships in both oncology and hematology at the Oklahoma University Health Science Center, where he was given the American Cancer Society Scholarship Fellow.

He has been published in several medical journals, and with regular participation in national research studies, is among the first to provide patients with the latest, most effective treatments available. For full details, please see his curriculum vitae.
